I
would like to introduce my cat, Izzy. Regarding his name; his previous
owners, who I contacted from papers at the Humane Society where I got him
thought he was she and they originally called him Isabelle. Then they found
out he was indeed a boy and shortened his name to Izzy since he was like
Hurricane Izzy, always speeding around.
Izzy is a very smart cat and he comes running when I call his name. He is a
big guy, weighing in at sixteen pounds (7.2 kg). In the summer he goes out and does his
business outdoors. He comes in before I leave for work and when I come home
from work he goes out again and will let me know when he is ready to come in.
When I ask for a "kissy-kissy" he knows that means kiss and lifts his head to
give me a kitty kiss with his nose. He knows when I am in a bad mood and will
come to me and lift my spirits.
Izzy doesn't like tuna, salmon or any kind of seafood. His favorite food,
funny enough, is Purina. He doesn't like treats, but will eat a Brewer's
Yeast tablet every morning with his food. He is a sweet boy and I am so happy
he is in my life. He gets jealous of me being on my laptop too long and will
sit on the armrest of the couch and swat my arm! He is warm, cuddly and my
best buddy. Not to mention he is so handsome and always dressed in his
