We
picked up Cora when she was two months old at our local Humane society the
same day we had to put our old girl Iggy down due to severe kidney disease.
Cora was in a cage with her two siblings and I hadn't planned on getting
another orange cat but she reached out through the bars and grabbed on to me.
She came home that day. Our other orange cat Frodo is very social and we knew
he'd be lonely being an only cat. Cora bonded instantly with Frodo, in fact
she will wander the house meowing in a loud throaty voice until she's by his
side again. Cora and Frodo love to wrestle and play, chasing each other
around the house like a herd of elephants.
Aside from her BFF Frodo, Cora is quite timid around people or other cats,
but she never shies away from a rousing romp with her buddy. Whether Frodo
wants her company or not, she is sure to jump up on their cat stand and curl
up with him for a nap, no matter how big they both get. Cora is a sweet,
timid girl with a beautiful little face and chubby belly that jiggles when
she runs. She loves it her belly rubs and will lie on the floor fully
stretched out so you can give her a rub on her chub. She has made a wonderful
addition to our home and we love our dueling orange duo.
