This
is Taqs, she's a rescue kitty. Taquitos officially, or Taks, or Teeks -
depending on my mood. I can't help giving her nicknames. She was in a no-kill
shelter, her previous owners just sort of gave her up for their own reasons.
We say we live in Kittyland (Formally Meowstantinople)!
She is a sweet, social, friendly cat. I'm more used to biters and clawers,
but she rarely does either. She runs the house already, and lately has been
carrying her food dish upstairs from the kitchen randomly. I'd love to get a
pic of that in action, but you know how cats go. They are super cute and zany
until you have a camera, then they just stare at you like you're an idiot.
When she's not being hounded by the camera, she enjoys checking the
hummingbird feeder, climbing to and hollering from the top of the kitchen
cabinets, and just being adorable.
