Some
time ago we lost our red chubby cat. He was our beloved pet, so I think
anyone knows how it can hurt. And one day we understood that we just can't
live without a little furball in our house, so we decided to adopt a kitten.
It turned out that was quite tricky.
Despite the fact that our landlord allows pets, most of local shelters under
no circumstances give their animals to those who rent apartments. So we had
to search in online forums and bulletin boards. And finally we found a post
of a Sphynx cat owner. His cat were found to be pregnant and gave birth to
six fluffy kittens. Five of them were adopted by his friends and he looked
for nice and responsible people to adopt the last one. That's how we got our Kuzya.
I still hardly believe that Kuzya is a sphynx mix - he doesn't look like spynx
at all! He has a different head and body shape, different eyes, different
hair (well, sphynxes are supposed to have no hair, right?). The only sphynx
thing about him is his curly whiskers. But that all doesn't really matter. He
is utterly affectionate and loving and when you hold him it feels like a
mountain of whipped cream in your hands. And that's much more important for us.
