Berry
is a very special girl who loves to sit on my lap, roll over, get tummy
rubs, and purr. She is pure sweetness. She was adopted from the ASPCA at age
thirteen months, and Berry is the name she came with. It's funny, because my
husband's name is Barry. When I posted this fact on a cat board that I
frequent, the people there suggested that Berry would probably get confused
having a Barry and a Berry in the house, and of course we could not change
Berry's name, so we would have to change Barry's name. Barry (the human) is
now known as Marbles.
Berry is a funny girl - she's not too good at playing "fetch" - when I throw
her a toy, she runs after it and passes it by. She does, however, manage to
stop right next to her treats, when I toss them to her. She also loves to eat
- I call her my little chubette, so we have to be careful about that. We love
her very much!
