Douchka
was our beautiful cat who passed away in February, 2013. We had been
lucky enough to be chosen by Douchka. I was home that day, sixteen years ago,
working around the house. I heard meaowing. It was her, hiding in a bush. She
was sick and weak. I gave her chicken and water. The day after, still hiding
in the bush, I called her and gave her tuna. That was it. She knew that day,
that we were a good family for her. We gave her good food, lots of caresses
and everything a cat could wish for. And the rest is history. She gave us sixteen
years of happiness and she will be remembered for ever.
