I'd
like you to meet Princess China Origami Haiku. Princess is one of the few
cats that we rescued and brought home for ourselves to keep. When she was
brought to our apartment, she was shy, skinny and finicky. As you can see,
she has come a long way since then. Princess also has maybe a broken or
dislocated hip bone (she was that way when we found her), so when she walks,
she kind of waddles, and it throws her off-balance when she runs and jumps.
She does not let it slow her down one bit, and thankfully it doesn't seem to
hurt, it is just part of what makes her unique now.
One of her favorite activities is coming into our rooms at night and plopping
against our heads to nuzzle into our hair. We love her very much.
