Introducing
Leonard the Persian kitty. This sweet-natured fellow doesn't
meow. He will sit by his water dish, just hoping you'll walk by and notice
him. His water dish must be filled to the brim, and after drinking, his flat
little face is completely soaked. Leonard also has an obsession with
cardboard boxes. His milk moustache is what first attracted me, but I
couldn't ask for a gentler, sweeter soul of a cat. He's a blessing and
brightens every day!
Regarding his unique "look" - one parent is completely pure white (dad), and
one is completely black (mom) - Leonard is the happy result! His little
moustache is just perfect! I guess you can understand that when I saw his
little face in photos of "available kittens," it was love at first sight!
Leonard is not a fan of getting brushed, and on occasion when grooming him,
he lets out the tiniest "mew" - he never meows, so we know it's because he's
stressed. So, we brush him when we can, but probably not as often as we
should - it breaks our hearts to upset him!
His favourite activities include finding every box or piece of cardboard he
can to lie in or on - every suitcase or bag, too! Plus, he loves to lie in
dirty laundry or on top of stinky sneakers! I swear Leonard is good for my
health ... the moment I hold him, I feel the troubles of the world or
stresses of the day just melt away!
