Hi there,
My name is Bat, which is short for BatCat or BatGirl. I have that name
because when I showed up here at this fine 5th wheel RV I looked like a bat.
I don't remember much about my early kitten hood except for getting thrown
out by the side of the road at an RV park. I was only four or five weeks old and it
was really scary. My voice hadn't matured much and I sounded like a squawking
bird. My dad says he heard me for a day yelling but thought it was a bird.
The next morning my two step brothers Bill and Bob saw me and when dad looked
under the trailer there I was with my mouth open squawking like a bird. Don't
tell anyone but I knew which RV to go to. All he saw was a black blob with a
pink tongue. I was too pitiful ( all an act ) not to feed. Well, that was all
it took and I wobbled my way into his and moms hearts.
That was three and a half months ago and I now am Queen of my domain. I have my step
brothers to show me what to do and they are fun to pick on. Bill I practice
my fighting skills on a lot and Bob fights back so I leave him alone. I have
learned to walk on a leash and love my mobile life. We are in a place called
Texas now with wonderful trees to climb and I have learned ever so
reluctantly to walk on a leash. I have been to a person called a vet twice
and that is not fun. First time to get what is called fixed and I really
didn't like that and the second time for what are called shots and that was
not fun either. Well, that's my story and I have to go now. There are things
to do and things to attack, so much to do and so little time before my nap.
