Carmine
is highly intelligent with a very large vocabulary. He's a real
family cat and rounds everyone up each night for "Couch Time".
He's taught us his language and I've learned my name is "Purdurow" and my
girlfriends is "Purrow." He also taught us the word for making him his pillow
cave which he adores. Each night he tells you where to build it and he
prefers pillow caves to any store bought cat bed.
He doesn't talk much but answers questions with the swing of his tail. Tail
movement means yes, and no movement means no. We've discovered that he was an
Italian Vegas singer in his former life, hence the tuxedo.
He's great a bath time, loves to sleep next to us at night, snores sometimes,
but always has the cutest smile when he's sleeping.
Carmine's specialty is disappearing and reappearing from inescapable
locations. His nickname was "Houdini" and it's how we came to be with him. He
somehow appeared in my girlfriends apartment, was put out the next day, only
to reappear inside the following day several times. At that point we decided
to keep him and he's been the most lovable and entertaining joy of our lives.
