Our
dear Boy Scout was found on the branch of a tree hanging over a river. He
was so tiny he didn't even have his eyes open yet! We kept hearing his cry
before we could find him. We took a pillowcase with us and rescued him,
carrying him gently in the pillowcase so we wouldn't lose him. We brought
Scout into our cat friendly home. We fed him from a dropper. Scout got
separated from his mother, somehow so now we had to take over.
We took turns staying home from work so we could feed Scout, keep him warm
and safe. After that one of us was able to take him to work in a box where he
could be fed, kept warm and safe in the box. Scout had a hard time after
being born to his feral mother but he grew to be a healthy and beautiful boy.
He likes to sleep with us at night. His older sister taught him to be "cat
like." Scout likes to be out in his private yard in the day but he will come
in at night. He loves to talk to us and play with his sisters. We are so
happy that we had the opportunity to rescue Scout. Imagine his fear when he
was alone on the tree branch and not able to see his way around!! We are so
glad glad he is ours!
