Mittens
is so very special to me because even after all she has been through,
she is still the most loving Cat I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
Mittens cuddles me and looks after our other kittens. She welcomes any other
cat or kitten I happen to take into my care.
I find this so amazing because Mittens was found on the streets when she was
younger. It was unknown how long she had been there, but because of her
placid, yet nervous nature, it was obvious she was a discarded former pet.
Mittens was found pregnant while nursing another litter of kittens. She was
dirty and thin and had rips taken out of her ear, part of the hardship of
protecting herself and possibly her kittens too.
Despite her history, Mittens is still so loving and kind. She will lie beside
me at night and give me kisses, which is something I had never had from a
cat. Even though a person abandoned her, she still loves me and my little
family. That is why Mittens is so special.
