Taub
came into our home as a surprise! One click onto a local shelter's
website and I fell in love with the white ball of fluff. Turns out while she
was in the shelter she had a terribly infected umbilical cord that was
causing the skin around her stomach to basically rot away, and she had
something called toxic milk syndrome! From the beginning she had already been
put through a few surgeries but made it through as happy and playful as ever!
She was born deaf, and knows nothing different in her life, and doesn't seem
to mind. If anything, it seems to have helped her love the world all the
better! Her sense of adventure and to get out in the world is almost crazy.
With her being a deaf cat we can't allow her outside without being closely
supervised with harness and leash in tow. She even needs little kitty
sunscreen on her pale skin if it gets too sunny outside. Recently we've been
letting her explore the outside world a bit more, bringing her on trips
outdoors and vacations. She's going to turn into one of the bravest little
kitty adventurers the world has ever seen! Taub is a playful kitty with an
outstanding sense of adventure. She loves to just sit and watch the world
move carelessly around her, and probably likes to smell odd things as well.
She really seems to brighten up everyone's day! People ogle at a cat that
walks on a leash, so it's time to show her off to the world!
