George
has the most personality of any cat I have ever owned. Our story began
with our two cats, who did not get along very well. Because I felt sorry for
our boy Wallace, I had been considering getting another cat so that he could
have a friend to play with because the girl cat Pagan wanted nothing to do
with him. I had recently started volunteering at the animal shelter and
George's personality was so much like Wallace's that I knew they'd be a great
match for each other.
He came to the shelter from a hoarded house - there were hundreds of cats
found with him and he is lucky to have gotten out with his health.
The day that I picked him up from the shelter, George had a very bad cold so
we had to nurse him back to health. But he's such a good boy and let us give
him his eye drops and medication without any complaints. Very soon, however,
his energy returned and his real personality came out. Despite the fact that
George had a tough kitten-hood, he's the sweetest cat we have ever owned. He
loves to give you kisses, is an eager purr-er, and loves to cuddle with you
all day long.
George loves to play fetch and play with Wallace all day long. They chase
toys together and run around the house and have fun pouncing on each other.
At the end of the day, you'll find them curled up next to each other on the
couch, just like brothers!
George is the most loving cat I have ever owned. He loves to come sit on your
lap or be held like a baby. He's huge! But he's such a sweetheart.
George would like to remind everyone to keep his fellow black kitties inside
the for next week especially, as there are people who might do them harm on
Halloween! "Stay safe, fellow black cats!," he says.
