M y cat is named Juno. A year ago I was fostering kittens for Toledo Area Humane Society, and I just could not give him up. All five kittens came to me without a mother, so my dog Dora took on the mothering role. Juno really bonded to her.
When it was time to finally bring the kittens back Dora was quite upset. After a few days I gave in and brought Juno back home. When I got his adoption papers it said his birthday was March 3rd, a day after mine. So I knew he was special. He gets along well with my other cat Nipsu, but Dora is his mom even if she is a dog. Juno will put himself in the crate just to be with her when we leave the house, he will groom her also. I hope to have many years with my little Juno.
