He looks like the perfect Halloween Cat but he's just a big scaredy-cat. It is difficult to get a picture of our Mr. Onyx. He is camera shy and being all black you usually get a black blob.
The one with his eyes open is from when he was about a year old. He is now 10.
Mr. Onyx joined our family as a kitten shortly after the loss of our beloved Inde who had passed away.
For a black cat, Onyx is afraid of his own shadow. He is very routine-oriented and doesn't like change. We got a new couch and he wouldn't come in to the living room for over a month.
He loves hair! If you lay down on the floor he will rub his face in your hair. He is a big boy weighing about 17 pounds and he is a daddy's boy.
When changing the linens on our bed he will find my husband's pillow and rub it and snuggle with it till I take it away. He will sit next to you and reach a
paw out to tap you, a sort of request for permission to get on your lap. It is very sweet! The skull was a Halloween decoration I purchased and had put on
our stairs to take to the attic. I was quite surprised to see him curled up next to it sleeping. We love our Mr. Onyx!
