The
last kitten in a litter we were told he was a girl, so beautiful, all
white & pink with bright blue eyes she was so tiny she fit in the palm of
your hand, she was named after the home of NASCAR, Charlotte, North Carolina.
Six months & four vet visits later, belly shaved to be spaded, they finally
discovered she was a boy for as pretty as she was she was also just as mean
and wouldn't let any vet touch her. By the way, the NASCAR-related name still
fits, he does purr like a racecar!
We don't know why this next quirk is as he is as smart as he is beautiful,
extremely affectionate little lover boy but doesn't like people walking
around him to this day! If you sit quietly he will be your friend just don't
stand up! That's just with people, not with his immediate family, we didn't
even know for the first two weeks!
Mr. Charlotte will be eleven this spring, he is practically human, actually
better behaved thna most humans! He does nothing wrong ever, just his odd
devil cat behavior with people, that is all that keeps him from perfection! I
don't know how I would deal with a pet that's an animal after him, he's just
not like anything else. I take a lot of B&W pictures since the flash is
blinding on his white fur. He's on the lease as Mr Charlotte, he's the boss,
the king of the castle, and everyone knows it!
His hearing is more than okay, he's very jumpy with the smallest sounds! But
it was well over a year before he began kneeding on me before lying down.
He's become more affectionate as he's grown older.
