Eloise
is a kitty we adopted through Katie's Place Animal Shelter and we
couldn't be happier about the decision! She was actually named by Coral - the
lady who found and fostered her before we adopted her. Coral said that she
named the kitten after her grandmother's imaginary friend. We thought that
was very neat and we liked the name, so we decided to keep it.
There are many things that make Eloise special, but her cutest quirks are
that she pants like a dog when she's tired after playing and that she likes
to help out with the chores - like cleaning the floor. She also likes to give
little massages before cuddling up to sleep by her human's side. I was
surprised by how long she wore the scarf. She took if off a few minutes later
to play with it though. Maybe it made her too warm or something, since she's
pretty fluffy.
Eloise is a very sweet cat. She loves to be around people and other pets and
to follow them around the house. She very much loves attention and when she
really wants some, she'll make cute purring sounds, start rolling around on
the floor, and jump up to be beside you, wherever it is you are. Eloise
doesn't like to sit still for long. Rather, she is very curious and very
playful, particularly after her meals. She most enjoys chasing after strings,
ribbons, and her Abyssinian sister - Lilu. Eloise hasn't learned any
particular tricks yet, but she's very good at jumping up high to catch little
toys that we toss in the air, and she comes when she's called. She'll also
always try to race everyone up the stairs. We love her!
