This
is Pixie, She is four months old and is a wild child indeed. We live in
the North Carolina Mountains. She is adorable, and full of life in a hyper
way. My daughter picked her named because she acted like a pixie jumping up
and down.
I adopted her from the Humane Society in town here Newland, North Carolina. I adopted her
on Black Friday. She is not my first Tuxedo cat. My five-year-old cat, Gabby,
a tuxedo too, need a buddy, and believe Pixie fits the bill. She is lovable
and sits on my arm when I type. I have to type with one hand usually. She
snuggles, give head butts. Her personality is cute as a button. She is not so
independent. Follows me everywhere I go, or where the other cat, Gabby, goes.
She jumps up for a toy pretty high. Has to be the first to get the thrown
toy. She jumps over Gabby when Gabby is eating. Her favorite toy is a stick
with colored feathers. She actually walks and runs around with it, even takes
into the bathtub when no water is in there, and jumps up on the back of my
desk chair with it. She likes to watch the birds outside a great deal.
Also the reason why I give her so much love and cuddles is because someone
abandoned her and she was alone for a few days without food. She was very
scared when they found her. She has since given me so much love in return.
One of the funny things she does do, is when I am sleeping she climbs
underneath the covers and sneaks up inside. I usually take her out, though.
because she likes to bite on everything, me included!
She weighs close to two pounds (0.9kg) now and eats very well. She teases the other cat
terribly, and doesn't let her just sleep all the time, which Gabby always
did. I have had a lot of cats but never one this silly. At night when I sit
to watch TV I tap my leg and she jumps up and she comes right up to my chin.
She snuggles there and doesn't leave until I get up.
