Meet our gentle and sweet Fernando, or "Nando" as we call him! We adopted Nando about two years ago after my previous cat of 18 years passed away. We adopted him from a rescue group which picked him up from a shelter with his mother and siblings. The shelter people found them out on the street somewhere. So, Nando had a bit of a rough start.
Nevertheless, he is the sweetest and gentlest of cats. He's very self-contained. He loves dogs (good thing, because we have two), adores his cat tree, and loves to wrestle with his purebred Maine Coon brother Luke. Fernando is also partial to my husband Mike, and loves to share a snuggly nap on the couch!
In one of the photos you see a green feather. Nando pulled it off a cat toy and then had absolutely no clue it was stuck to his chin!
Nando is a very handsome boy, with long fur on his chest and belly. He's a laid back, cool cat and we're so glad he's part of our furry family!
