Introducing Andrew Robert Cat. He is funny, he loves beans from the garden, and will even chase them when I throw them for him, silly kitty!
Andy-cat is one of four kittens born to my rescued ferals (I am a feral rehabilitator); his
parents were rescued along with their other two littermates last year in July; all were born in the wild from a wild mother and father. (I am still trying to TNR* them).
Andy is the best friend of my young son, who has autism and ADHD. Andy likes to walk on a leash and give kisses. He is loved by all the cats in my house (I have seven when all the ferals are inside!), from my 20-year-old rescued Persian/Maine Coon female and he is especially the best little buddy of my "kitten rescuer" cat, Feldgrau, who was a bottle baby himself. He plays with his "aunt" Marlene, another tuxedo I rescued, who is the sister of Andy's mother. Andy is a very special kitten!
*TNR: Trap, Neuter and Return, a humane method of controlling overpopulation in feral cats, but keeping their beneficial presence in the community.
