Patches loves the sun and warmth and fuzziness, which you can tell
by her favorite spots in the house-the sunroom table, the sunroom
chair, the sunroom heated carpet, the bed (by the window) and the
fuzzy comforter(also by the window). Patches likes to eat cat
treats, but only when they are her favorite brand. But, when her
sister, Brinley, gets the cat treats that Patches does not like,
Patches will follow us around and stare at us until we give her
those treats (which she will sniff, lick, then walk away from).
Patches was once a feral cat that roamed around our
neighborhood. When she was two, there was a big storm, and Patches
did not want her kittens to be hurt. So, she took her kittens and
jumped onto our neighbor's windowsill. When she was found and
taken care of, the kittens were given out in the neighborhood. But
we were worried about Patches, so we took her in. Now, Patches
still loves the outdoors, and spends a lot of time staring
outside.
We named her Patches, because, well, she has patches! Patches
is so soft that she feels like a bunny! The only bad thing about
Patches? She constantly has boogers, but that does not seem to bother her.
We love her just as she is.
