We
first met Bobby in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He barely had his
eyes open yet, but he'd already stolen our hearts. His birth
mother was hit by a car and he was left behind in a bush nearby my
uncle's apartment. His brothers and sisters were all adopted out,
while he patiently waited for a home to call his own. We didn't
know how to care for a newborn kitten, yet we knew... He belonged
with us. Bobby had to survive. So, we took him home on the three
hour long car ride back to Connecticut meowing all the way. Every night, we
took turns bottle feeding him and wiping his little behind. It was
so cute to see him taking his first wobbly steps. He was a gift to
our family. Fifteen years later, he's now the leader of our six
cat pack and the owner of top bunk on the cat tower. Bobby was
born to lead, even with his skinny little self. He's our miracle
fur baby. He will be sixteen in November ... But we will never forget the day we met.
