This is our kitty Shade. She showed up at the barn one day,
I figured one of the barn cats gave birth to her out in the woods and was just now showing her the barn. since we have a bad (well it's not really bad, just normal for any barn where hay is kept) mouse problem in the feed room. But when I started to walk away she came right up to me and let me pet her! She was meowing for attention and rubbing against my leg.
Since none of the barn cats (well, the ones I have not raised as a kit) do not like humans, I figured she must have run away or been turned out from some previous home.
So I posted pictures of her around the town to see if her owner was looking for her. About 2 months went by and no one came for her so she is now part of the farm. And she is still very friendly, and curious as you can see!
