My Dear Watson is my snowshoe darling, and my little tyrant of my home. I let in a pregnant stray cat in back in May 2014, I felt so bad for her with bulging sides and a hanging stomach. That night she was hiding in the closet and birthed four little ones! Watson was solid white when he was born. Over the weeks, he grew and become the little firecracker I know and love today.
When he was around five weeks old, he was laying on my malamute/shepherd mix and was licking her. He ingested flea medication (it had been applied weeks before, but my dog hadn’t had a bath since that time). I stayed up for two days with him, wrapped in a towel and syringe feeding him water. The vet said to make sure he drank lots of water. After that I decided I could not part with such a brave little kitten. Now my dogs only use flea collars outside... there is no liquid flea medicine or shampoo in our house just for my baby.
Every day I wake up to his little purring self sitting on my knee. He loves turkey bacon, I can’t cook it without his interference/help. He lives with two sister snowshoes we adopted from Floyd County Animal Control and AMAL Rescue Organization.
He is my wonderful little son. He makes my life easier every day and helps with my PTSD disorder, anxiety, and manic depression. I do not know how I would have come so far without him.
