Shiva is a rescue kitty and a munchkin cat. I adopted him and his sister just a minute after they finished being weaned from the bottle. Where their mom was or went is a mystery as the siblings were abandoned on my sister-in-law's property and she insisted I take them. I am so glad she did. They have been the sweetest purveyors of joy in my life.
Shiva has the funniest tiger-Napoleon at eight pounds and isn't much bigger than a kitten, he is only 2/3 the size of his sister. I hope believe I have captured not only some of his braggadocios in my pictures, but also his lovely sweetness, too.
Shiva is just an all-around character. There are so many things to say about him. He demands his 5 to 20 minutes of unobstructed snuggle time where he will follow me either once in the morning or once at night until I stop whatever I am doing. He will just jump/plop into my lap where if I do anything other than be with him. He does simultaneous streech/meows. He's not "dependent" by nature. He is outside most of the day but just demands his time with me, too.
He is a very, never fail, guard cat. I live rural and am not prone to having random visitors but if a human does step foot on my property - he runs in the house jumps in the window and growls at them. So I am always alerted if there is a human, keep in mind he doesn't do this with other animals.
He loves raw buffalo meat. Both he and his sister love to hike with me around my property. He's a great helper in all things, like in the one photo, he is "helping" me do photography. When his sister is late coming home, he always goes out and looks for her with me - he will even meow right after I call out his sister's name! It's amazingly cute!
