We found Skidder roaming around our house about two years ago. She was so
tiny, and cute. She was too skittish to come near anyone, hence the name.
After days of sitting outside, trying to get her to come near us, I sat
out there for about an hour, and she finally came up to me. I hurried and
grabbed her to bring her inside. She was so scared at first, but she
finally warmed up to us.
She is still very skittish, but she has made a
lot of progress in the past two years. Her favorite spot in the house is
on top of the refrigerator. She drinks with her paws, and she loves to look out
the window. I am so glad we have her in our lives (even though my
boyfriend is her favorite person). Her two best friends are our cats Daisy and
Alma. Oh! And she is definitely a loud mouth! My favorite moments with
her are when she sleeps on my back. It is precious! <3
