Chester is a cat which I found nearby my chalet. He was wandering around with two other homeless kittens. The two others were already playing with me. When Chester saw me, he didn't look happy, and didn't seem to trust me. He kept trying to push the two other cat away from where we were, acting like a big brother.
They didn't want to go, so after fifteen minutes, Chester stop trying to make the two other back away from me. It took some time, but he finally approached me. But still, he did not want me to touch him.
I found Chester the next day, playing in the flowers and with the car. He seems so happy. We fed them, but Chester was really careful and he was always watching the two other cats, making sure they were alright. Even though he was feral, and did not want to be touched or cuddled as I so wished, I kept working on it, and grew to love him very much. I think Chester is a special cat, because he was really like a big brother to the other cats, protecting them, taking care of them.
Then one day, before I could convince them to be caught and become indoor cats, when the night came, we never saw them again. They were gone.
We will never forget you Chester. <3
