Introducing Tandoori, known as Tandi for short. In the summer of 2014 I was leaving an Indian restaurant after lunch. Despite the busy street noise, I heard loud yowling and tracked it to a little furball under a parked Mercedes. I suspect she traveled there in the engine compartment. I "made" my boss go back into the restaurant for some chicken from the buffet table to lure the little thing out. Hence her name.
She is breathtakingly beautiful as a grown cat, with an enormous tail, and is a consummate trouble maker. My friends have dubbed her Dolly Destructo. She loves to destroy cardboard and gets little corrugated "houses" for major holidays such as Christmas and Halloween. We love her!
Tandi is feisty and independent but when she's in the mood, she's very affectionate and chatty. As is often the case, when she complains, it's hard to tell what she's complaining about. She loves most toys, especially anything filled with catnip, cardboard boxes and fishing poles. I recently purchased a pole with a cute crinkly dragonfly connected by bright pink twine. Within 3 minutes of discovering the toy, she had bitten through the twine and taken off with the dragonfly. She is a very funny little kitty. She climbs into the attic using the fixed stairs in the garage and loves to hang around up there when it's cool enough. Her Grammy and Grampy, friends of mine, love to get photos of her doing silly things.
