We adopted Phineas, a slinky black and white Tuxedo cat with big yellow eyes, nearly a year ago from the All About Cats Rescue in Roswell, Georgia. He was adopted with his brother, Cosmo.
At first we were just adopting Cosmo. It was a big decision to get a cat, and we weren't going to get more than one. Well, when we went to fetch Cosmo, he was cuddled up with Phineas in his cage and it was the cutest thing. We could never come home with just one of the brothers, so we took home both of them!
Phineas is the most playful of our three cats and though he isn't a lap cat (he is too frisky and he rolls around a lot when he is happy) he is super sweet! He comes and lays in my bed and kneads the blankets. He turns on a real loud motor, too!
Phineas is usually just called "Phinny" or "Phin" and he has a handful of other nicknames, too. He's quite the cat! We used to have a dog named Frodo, and Phineas would play with Frodo a lot. He still loves dogs to this day!
Phineas and the other two cats we have make our lives so much better, and Phinny is a great versatile cat. Whether he's batting at the feather wand, curled up on a bed, or sneaking around the house, he is a real great guy to have around!
