Meet Miss Sasha. I adopted her from the local Humane Society here in Vero Beach, Florida. I needed another cat to replace my previous cat Miss Bootsie. Sadly Miss Bootsie died of cancer on October 5th, 2015. I found I could not be without a feline friend, so on November 23, 2015 I visited several cat adoption centers and there was something about her that we just clicked. I played with her in a room and she kept coming up to me when I would call her. I went back the next day and spent four hours with her. I looked at her and said, "You need a home and you are coming with me." The drive home was interesting. She was quiet and just kept looking at me the whole time as her hero, because she knew what I had done for her.
She adjusted very quickly to her new home and we both bonded in about two days. Today she is a talker and is so smart, and she loves to be near me. She really does not like to be held, however, but she sure loves having a contact with my hand. Miss Sasha is a friendly girl whose favorite pastime is watching TV while perched on my lap. She sure filled my void and I love her so much. She has worked out just perfectly in my house.
