Oliver showed up at my mother's house on a cold, wet December day. She was having furniture delivered so he just let himself in the house while the door was open. He explored the place but wouldn't let anyone touch him until I arrived. Once I got there he never left my side. After looking for his owner for several days I was going to try to find a home for him. I already have a cat but I fell in love with him pretty quickly. He was skinny but healthy looking and soon found a love for most all foods. He must have left his mother a little early because he tries to nurse on my earlobe from time to time.
Oliver is very loving but feels the need to tackle his sister to the ground. She is less than impressed. Just like all kitties, he loves to play. Lots of times I'll hear him in the middle of the night playing with one of his toys or find one that he's brought to bed.
At first, Oliver was scared of people (except me). Now when someone comes to visit, he's the first to greet them. With the combination of his handsome face and comical actions, my friends just love him.
Oliver loves to be outside but I live on a busy street so I had an outdoor enclose built. He's out there a lot just listening to the birds, watching rabbits or letting the breeze blow in his face. He consistently runs through the house to come out to greet me when I get home from work. I just love this little guy and am so happy that Santa brought me an early Christmas present.
