Leo's fur mom, Jezebel, belonged to a neighbor who lived with six other people and an aggressive dog. She did not like her home, and made that very clear by spending all her time at my house. When she became pregnant she refused to go home, so I moved her into my living room to have her kittens.
She must have known something, because when the time came she wouldn't leave my lap. The first two kittens were breach and stuck, without me there they all would have died. Jezzy had five kittens. Once they were weaned, Jezzy went to a good home with a woman who already loved her and the other four kittens went to good homes elsewhere.
Leo is a funny, entertaining and lovable cat who likes to play with his siblings. We have 14 animals (11 cats and 3 dogs) and Leo plays with and cuddles with most of them. Jada, our Husky/Shepherd mix, helped raise Leo and his litter mates. Leo still thinks Jada is his mother and he loves to wash and cuddle with her. I am Leo's other Mom and he likes to give me "hugs" and love nips. He also likes to get into my hair and suckle and knead. (Ouch!) When he isn't being a love bug, he is wrestling with one or another of the other cats. During the warm months, he likes to lounge in the cat enclosure, where he watches the birds and squirrels. Or he spends time watching the fish in the pond that is inside the enclosure.
Leo is our special boy. He is spoiled, sweet, very loved.
