This is my sweet girl Maffy, the Doll Face Persian. Her nicknames are variations of Lil Miss Maffit, Muppet and Maff. She is the youngest sister of Flaffy (the cat) and Nahla (the dog) both of which have been featured here.
I had been interested in getting the purrrfect companion to my cat Flaffy so that he is not all alone when I take his sister Nahla to the dog park, hiking, marathons, out for runs, walks, etc.
My search came to an end as soon as I saw pictures of my sweet Lil Miss Maffit. She looks exactly like the "Fancy Feast" cat. She is so beautiful and has the most striking natural black eyeliner against her gorgeous white fur. Flaffy is such a handsome Persian cat and so I wanted to have an equally beautiful Persian kitten as his sister. Together Flaffy and Maffy are the Puppets or the Tuffets.
Aside from her beauty, Maffy is full of energy, loves to play with Flaffy, they play wrestle, groom each other, cuddle and run around the house after one another. When they are playing they sound like a couple of horses running around, lol. They have so many toys and a huge cat tree with hammocks, rabbit hole, scratching posts, hanging toys, feathers, etc. that they play on, scratch and sleep in. She has really made such a positive impact on Flaffy as a sister companion.
Muppet is very affectionate, and likes to sleep right by my head. She loves cuddles and kneading while purring. She goes crazy trying to catch the laser pointer, lol. She loves to play the kitty fishing game on my cell phone and is quite good at it. Maffy is also known as Spider-Maff when she climbs the screen on the backyard door. Maff is very vocal and is always talking. She does not meow but squeaks instead (both my kitties squeak and do not meow), it sounds so cute.
A good way to get Maffy to come over is to have something to eat. She will eat anything I am eating and expects to get some portion of whatever food I am eating. Perhaps she learnt that from her sister Nahla. She doesn't eat too much but definitely likes variety. I am very mindful to give all of my babies only healthy foods that are ok for cats/dogs to eat.
She loves to go outside to play in the backyard with her brother and sister. She and Flaffy both have kitty harnesses to keep them safe and secure in the backyard and Nahla to accompany them. Maffy has been such a purrrfect addition to my family and I feel that we are now complete. The song I wrote for Maffy:
