Olive is extremely adorable! From what I have read, tortoiseshell calico cats choose their person and can have a "tortatude." She is my cat ... we play together all the time. We play hide and seek and she loves to play with items that are not cat toys. These include things such as the small plastic lids to water bottles, small rolled up yarn balls and wine corks!
She is very much attached to my husband. Wherever he is in the house, she is right by his side, walking close to his ankles wanting his attention. If she wants attention and we are watching tv, she will jump onto the kitchen table and push off whatever she can move.
She will not sleep in a bed made for animals so I gave her my dishpan. Yup, it's her favorite. It stays on our bed and she sleeps in it every night. Olive is our baby! We raised her from three and half weeks old. We took her off the hands of a homeless man who just wanted to find a home for her. She is now 3.5 years old. We love her so much and you can see why!
