TThis is my boy, Butch Cassidy, he thinks he's a human baby. He turns five years old on December 1st. He wants to eat at the table. Also, he loves people taking photos of him. He loves to spoon at night but only if he's little spoon.
He is my first cat. I'm not a cat person but I needed a cat to control the critters in my mud hut in Guinea, where I did Peace Corps. He ended up winning my heart though and I couldn't leave him behind once my service ended. My village didn't have cats so he hung out with the stray dogs running around my village at night, so he sometimes also thinks he's a dog. He would leave every night at around 9 pm to go hunt for his food (not much access to cat food where I was) and would come back every morning at 6 am to wake me up just in time for school. Sometimes he'd bring me back some of his catch, like birds or bats or mice.
I didn't have a carrier for him so we only traveled with him on a leash. He has a little booklet as a sort of passport I had to show when I was exiting Guinea. He is extremely affectionate and doesn't like it when I travel; he gets mad at me and meows at me as if to tell me he's mad. I'm attaching more pictures of him, including some of when he was a baby in Guinea. He loves to eat guacamole, papaya and cheese.
