Ernie is one year old, and he has thumbs. He loves his cube and is very very playful. He adopted us. I know people often say that, but he really did. We had three kitties when we first saw him in our backyard just watching us. The next day he came closer. He was so friendly and loving we thought he had a home. But it became obvious he didn't. He hung around more and more to the point where he never left.
I later found out through our neighborhood that his family moved and left him behind. As mad as that made me, I'm glad he found us. We gave him a cube for shelter on our porch with food and water until we could get him to the vets for a check up and to get fixed. In the mean time my baby Oreo was 17, got sick and passed away September 8th, 2016 just shy of one week before he was planned on going to the vets. We believe God sent him to us to help us through Oreo's death, wich was quite hard for me. But now he's our ray of sunshine!
