What's special about Khaleesi? Everything!!!
So, where do I begin? My Khaleesi is special from her little pink nose to her fuzzy calico toes! She is a Shaded Golden Calico Persian and she knows just how fancy she is. She is five years old and from the moment she came into my home, she was a little diva - she had this strut that screamed "Princess." When I first saw her tiny, precious face on the breeder's website I instantly fell in love. It was the holidays, there was an instrumental of Silent Night playing in the background as her picture loaded onto the screen and till this day I call her my little Christmas angel. Actually, it's funny because her favorite time of year is still Christmas (she gets very perky during the holidays).
She is my family's third cat, we actually have four Persians and my boyfriend and I consider ourselves their "mamma and poppa." Khaleesi is our only girl of the four but she basically leads the pack - what she wants, she gets. I have heard that cats almost always form their closest bonds with other cats, however Khaleesi is by far the closest with us. She always follows us around the house, she likes to play one on one with her people and if the boys try to get involved - she won't have it lol. She won't sleep anywhere but in our room and when we leave the house, she is almost always waiting for us when we come home.
Now of course with a beautiful coat like hers there is a good bit of grooming, which she isn't very fond of but even then, she is comforted by wrapping her cute little paws around my boyfriend's arm and holding on until it's done. Her grooming is always finished with a little touch of perfume right on top of her head (because she's such a lady). The only thing more beautiful than Khaleesi's appearance is her sweet, loving and intelligent personality. She is my absolute best friend and I'd be lost without her.
