My cat Zulu is kind and loving. My neighbor is an elderly woman who has dementia and lives with her daughter and when we moved in she took an instant liking to Zulu. Every morning when I let him out for the day he goes across the street to my neighbors to spend all day with her. In the summer they spend the day on the porch or in the garden and in the winter they let him in the house to visit.
I got him three years ago as a birthday gift. I had just gotten back from New Orleans at Mardi Gras time, where they have a parade call the Zulu parade which is where his name comes from. I've had cats my whole life so he's not my first, but he is the oldest of my three I currently have. His only trick is if that you love him enough he'll start cooing like a pigeon. He enjoys roughhousing and playing with the kitten, and he is both affectionate and independent. He is a very special boy, not only to us, but our neighbor as well.
