I found my little Salem hiding underneath a donga (a portable building, like a trailer) when she was a wee kitten on a late night drive out of town one night. My mother passed away when I was only a little girl, we had many cats but she always had her special little black cat.
Over the years, Salem has proven many times she embodies my mother's spirit, always comforting me at the worst of times in my life, and knowing exactly when I need her. She's equally dominant and wild as she is sweet and loving. I don't know what I'd do without my pretty girl :)
