She's adorable and so round (kindly plump), she has the cutest meow and she's very very attached to us, her owners. She's nearly like a dog! She's so special to me.
Moomin (it is only a nickname: her real name is Wakfu, but she's so round and gentle we call her Moomin) is the first cat I got when I left my family to start my own life. In fact, She was my partner's cat and we started living together so Moomin became my cat too. My partner adopted her in a rescue center; Moomin was then a wary and fearful cat, afraid of anyone especially kids and men. She only accepted my partner around her.
Despite her spiteful personality, when I first met her she instantly accepted me. I have a fun and adorable anecdote about it ! One night, when I got to bed at my partner's place then, Moomin got immediately on my belly and dropped something on me, purring. It was a tiny plastic spoon! I thought, "Wow, is she actually gifting me a spoon? That's the most adorable thing!" So, I adopted her and the most important is, she adopted me as well.
So we moved to our first apartment together with my partner, with Moomin. She already started to change of course, due to the good care my partner patiently gave to her. But once we were together, she became more and more adorable every day. She lost her bad habits, she was less frightened by anything. Today, she's just the most adorable cat you could ever imagine. From then when she was a sad and fearful cat, hissing and hiding, she became very, very attached to us. She's always purring, always wanting to cuddle, when we go back home she's always running at us, meowing happily. She still has a funny personality, she often grumbles when we tease her, but she is very patient and cuddly. It's so obvious that she loves us more than anything. She nearly has a dog's behavior.
Moomin has some stomach issues, so we take care of her and give her special meals to avoid her throwing up her food. At every sign, we worry about her. I think we couldn't love a cat or any animal more than her. She's like our child, a real member of our family. Losing her would be the worst thing on earth for us. It will be, as sadly a cat cannot live as long as humans. But we cherish every moment we have with this very special cat as she is.
She doesn't play much; what she likes the most is sleeping on our bed and cuddling; if only you could see the face she makes when she's cuddling! She looks like the happiest cat in the world. She has also some adorable meowing habits. We know exactly how she feels at every single meow. She is still a cat that get stressed easily, but a simple pat can soothe her a little.
This is my very special cat, the one and only Moomin, the cat of our life without a single doubt.
