Benson was adopted from the MEOW Foundation, a local cat rescue, when he was four months old. He fit in well with the other cats we had at that time. He was very friendly, always happy to see his human family.
Benson and his kitty siblings modelled for a calendar when he was young, that was his start of being admired. Most of his life people have commented on his unique eye color. They are not blue, nor are they really green. I call them aqua.
When Benson was two years old he passed his test to become a Pet Therapy cat, as his older kitty sibling Jet was. He visited kids at the Children's Hospital until recently, when he was retired from his "job.” The kids loved him since all of the other pets on the team were dogs.
Sadly, a couple of months ago Benson was diagnosed with a tumor in his pancreas and does not have long to live. This is why I want to honor Benson, he is very special.
