Leo's mother lived in the streets and was rescued as soon as she had her kittens. Leo was at a cat adoption fair. So, my wife and my daughter saw him they fell in love. When we brought him home, he immediately took possession and became king of the place. Leo adopted us and added a dose of warmth and happiness to our home.
One of the interesting things about it is that when either of us returns home, even before opening the door he is already mewing. Somehow, he knows what's coming. He shares moments of great energy, when he runs from one end of the apartment to the other, and with affection, when he lies on our laps wanting to be petted. Whether we are on the computer, in the kitchen, in the living room, anywhere we are, he loves our company and we love to be with him.
