My cat is Murphy (a he-cat). He is a tabby (white and grey), and we adopted him in one January when our last cat had died after an operation. Murphy was sitting in a home for animals and my son picked him at once. He soon felt at home with us. He is a cat that likes to talk (meow) a lot. He became really fat because he is always very hungry. And he sits at the breakfast table with his dad, just waiting for his portion!
Nine years ago, our sofa was in rags because of Murphy. But he then learned to sleep in a basket. He often jumps onto the kitchen cupboard and onto the window sill to watch the street in front of our house. When it´s time to go to bed, Murphy gets up from his basket and goes directly into our bed. We love him.
