This is Charles Winchester III. We adopted him from the Everett Animal Shelter four years ago, when he was eight. He has won our hearts with his good nature and love of belly rubs. He hunts down and catches flies in the house! Good kitty!
He has an interesting way with water. He loves to drink out of the tap instead of the fresh, filtered water we pour for him into two separate bowls. We had to lock him out of the pantry where his bag of food was because he would simply help himself whenever, if his food bowl was empty.
We have a cat tree that is floor to ceiling, now dominating our living room. I donated our piano to Port Susan Middle School here in Stanwood so that we have room for the tree! He loves to perch in it and watch the activity outside, especially the hummingbirds on the feeder just outside the window. His original name was Puss N' Boots, but he kind of has a pompous attitude at times, hence the Charles name from the doctor character from M*A*S*H.
