Dickens chose me when I went to the shelter to adopt a cat. I was considering another cat in the cage below him, when I felt a black paw gently tapping me on the shoulder. It was love at first sight.
Dickens is friendly and intuitive. He happily greets visitors and likes nothing more than to sit next to them. Dickens senses when we’re coming down with an illness before we do, which we know because he suddenly won’t leave us alone when that happens. He loves to be present at all times, including as I work. He has welcomed a new puppy into the household by bathing it, initiating play, and just hanging out with the pup.
It seems that all Dickens wants in life is to love and be loved, just like we all do.
