Our cat is a pure bred Blue Bengal that we named Maui. Both my husband and I love the island of Maui so it seemed like a great fit. Maui is special because she loves all people including children. She's always ready to play unless she's sleeping, and she's super smart.
We weren't planning on getting another cat for personal reasons but a close friend asked us if we wanted a kitten. The first time we saw her, she was one month old and we knew then she had stolen our hearts. Bengals are very high energy so we have lots of toys for her to play with. Still, that second picture is two examples of what we call "Life with a Bengal" - anything can - and will - become her plaything. She loves to fetch and her favourite toy is Da Bird. She also loves to jump, so we have created several perches she can jump up on. Bengals are very devoted to their humans.
