Denali is a flame-point Himalayan and has the softest fur imaginable. He is not my first Himalayan and is a rescue kitty. I couldn't resist those blue eyes. He will allow me to pet him as long as he is laying down or sitting, so he is the independent type.
I've only had Denali since May of 2016 and we are still getting to know each other. I already had two females who are rescue cats. He gets along with them and plays with the one who is more playful (the other female "doesn't play well with others"). I live on the third floor with a nice balcony and he loves to sit on the railing and survey his kingdom.
