Sophie is a loving girl, but very demanding. She prowls for hours, and comes in when she is hungry. She brings us lots of presents to the front steps to show us love. It is hard to explain to her we are not as excited about a dead critter as she is.
We found her in the middle of a intersection when I was driving one day, when I almost ran her over because she darted out in my path. She was so small she could sit in my hands. She looked at me with those piercing blue eyes, and how could I do anything but bring her home?
That was eight years ago, and she has since become part of the family. She has her favorite napping places for when she not out hunting, and we have to admit she is rather spoiled. But she brings us gifts, so we know she appreciates us, too!
