Hi, I'm Peyton. I got my name because of my Denver Broncos orange color and because I had to get along with a houseful of other kitties, most of whom were Denver natives.
My human wasn't planning to adopt another cat when I showed up on her porch. She already had four, and three of them were seniors who might have been upset with a rambunctious newcomer. But I came down with a bad upper respiratory infection, so the human took me to the vet and brought me home to recover. When I was well enough, she introduced me to Angel, Bob, Caly, and Lily. I love humans and kitties alike, so we became one big family in no time.
My primary mission in life is to keep a close eye on my human. She works from home, and I like to drape myself over her shoulder and purr extra loud when she's on a conference call. She couldn't possibly do her job without me.
Last fall, we lost both Lily and Angel. The human says she doesn't think she could have gotten through that difficult time without my snuggles and face licks. She's very grateful that I chose her to rescue me.
